The Carmelite Rule
The Rule of Saint Albert is considered to be the primary Rule for all the Carmelite Family. The rule of life given to the Carmelites by St. Albert Avogadro between the years 1206 - 1214, was approved by Pope Innocent IV in 1247 and later underwent some mitigations which were not in the original text.
